Behind two goals from star Aidan Donnelly, No. 8 Southern downed perennial state power and No. 2 ranked Scotch Plains-Fanwood, 2-0, in the 2024 NJSIAA Group 4 state final.
The win was the first state title in program history for Southern and the team’s first ever appearance in a state final.
