In addition, our shock absorbers are equipped with a progressive spring, which means that the distances between the spring coils are smaller (progressive). Only progressively wound springs allow a really comfortable response when braking, driving with luggage or in two-man operation, ie the spring responds very carefully at the beginning and becomes "harder" with further compression / loading.
Harder springs, also in other colors, are available as spare parts and are intended for heavy drivers and high payloads.
Rebound adjustment:
The rebound setting rounds off the overall picture positively and influences the rebound behavior of the shock absorber, ie it regulates the response behavior when driving over bumps in the road, bumps and clearly also when braking. Depending on the model, between 10 and 20 setting options ("clicks") for the rebound are available here. When you turn the rebound adjustment clockwise, the damping increases, when you turn it counterclockwise, it decreases (direction of view = top view).
