Soviet Army Enlisted Man or NCO side cap, 1970s- early 80s.
GUARANTEED 100% ORIGINAL USSR manufacture, made specifically for the Soviet Armed Forces.
Made in olive green cotton / synthetic blend, with plain cotton liner. Includes ORIGINAL, correct period hat badge for Enlisted or NCO, in aluminum and red paint (the badge is attached but very easy to remove if desired). The liner shows factory stamp with a date (the factory and the date may differ from piece to piece, but all are from 1970s – early 80s, and made to the same strict Soviet military standard code).

At this low price, the side cap is available ONLY in size 57 which corresponds with about a US size 7 1/8 (medium / small). PLEASE NOTE: according to the Soviet uniform regulations, a pilotka is supposed to be worn on the top of the head, not pulled down to the ears. If you look at old Soviet Army photos or watch a documentary film, you will notice that this was exactly how Soviet soldiers usually wore them, at least when they were in view of their officers.
The side cap is in very good condition, clean and almost factory fresh. There are only a couple of snags, not detractive. Your example will be chosen at random from our available stock.
