Here I have a lightly used French military surplus raincoat.  These were issued to French troops at one time, and were then turned in and sold on the surplus market.  I have looked over quite a few of these, and have found absolutely NO damage to any of them.  SOME have some light staining (as shown in one of my photos) that I do believe would wash out -- or try Goo Gone, as that stuff is magic at removing unwanted marks on just about anything!
I have several sizes available:
88C -- 17 units available

92C -- 3 units available
96L -- 5 units available
104M -- 7 units available
Most of them are folded very nicely (but a few were just balled up and thrown in the box), and I believe all of them are "tagged" with the white inventory tag as shown in my photos.

These have PLENTY of useful life in them -- they are VERY lightweight, and fold up to a VERY compact size -- they'd be perfect to throw in the trunk of your car for emergencies, or even to wear regularly.
They are made for warm weather wear -- they have mesh air vents in the back and under the armpits.  They also have large pockets on both sides of the front on either side of the waist.   They do not have a hood, however.
Yes, they are wrinkled from being folded up in storage for many, many years, but I think the wrinkles would come out if you hung it for a while or washed it.
There is no tag indicating what the material is, but if I had to guess, I would say that it feels like nylon with a thin rubberized backing inside -- just like thin modern raincoats.  They are of excellent quality, but I have no idea what time period these are from.  They are marked with icons on the factory label indicating that they should be hand-washed and hung to dry, but no iron should be used on them.
