For sale is one pair of carbon graphite D.C motor brushes for BODINE GEAR MOTOR. The nominal or rated size for these is .175" X .240X .625" long. Make sure you measure your old brush to ensure that these will fit. The inside of the brass brush housing should be .187" X .250" These are aftermarket and are not made by BODINE. Please see pictures for installation hints.
These came bulk packaged with a single instruction sheet about seating these brushes to the commutator. It's stated that you should remove the load from the motor and run it for approximately 30 minutes at 50 to 75% of its rated voltage. This gives the front surface of the brush time to conform to the exact shape and curvature of the commutator.
BODINE CHARGES - shipped--depending on which distributor you purchase them from.
These are mailed in a small box about the size of a pack of gum. This is to protect them and make sure they do not get damaged. Then this box is placed inside of a bubble envelope and is mailed by first class mail with a tracking number.
